In case anyone is curious about the dub, I found it really quite good. I've heard quite a few dubs in my time, (none better than Cowboy Bebop ... so I can truthfully tell you that the voices are good. - Jaymie Lynne Rines. -- Anime Digital Online.
The dub, though it doesn't feature the big-name stars of the Princess Mononoke
dub {{{ Who Needs Them?? - Jenny Haniver.}}}, was quite well done.
The writing was solid and accurate, if a bit opaque at times, and the cast
did a good job, both dramatically and in terms of color, in almost every role,
large or small. The casting was surprisingly consistant with the original
voices; the most significant difference was with Pero, the investagative robot,
who I though was actually better in the dub--his amiable but even and dispassionate
tone seemed to be exactly how a robot might behave. In either language, though,
the main characters don't have a great deal of dialogue for the most part--as
much of the story is told through the action.
